Water turtle care?

I have a turtle with webbed feet and it looks like his nails are getting long... are you supposed to cut them? Just wondering. Thanks!
No. Do Not Cut Them. If your turtle is a male, that is one of the distinguishing factors . The males nails are much longer than the females nails. A male turtles bottom shell ( the plastron) is also concave- caves in - where as the females is convex.
